Nistraigunyobhava i.e., discard all the three qualities  of satwa, rajas and tamo.  Total surrender to God leads to salvation.  God is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient.  Except God all else is insentient.
God is the efficient cause (nimitta kaaranam)
And material cause (dravya kaaranam).
Maya (inherent of God) is instrumental cause(sadhana kaaranam).
