“Father, I have fished the work which thou gavest me to do

The Last supper Part lV

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify Thee: As Thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given him.  And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent. I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which Thou gavest me to do.

“And now, O Father, glorify Thou me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before world was.

“I have manifested Thy name unto the men which Thou gavest me out of the world: Thine they were, and Thou gavest them me; and they have kept Thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou hast given me are of Thee. For I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send me.

“I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which Thou hast given me; for they are Thine.  And all mine are Thine, and Thine are  mine; and I am glorified in them.  And I am no more in the world, and I come to Thee. Holy Father, keep through Thine own name those whom Thou hast given me, that they may be one, as We are.

“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name; those that Thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now I come to Thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

“I have given them Thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even I am not of the world, I pray not that   Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

“Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. As Thou hath sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

“Neither pray I for These alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in me, and  I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us; that the world may believe that Thou hast sent me.

“And the glory which Thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me.

“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they behold my glory, which Thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which Thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

“O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”

These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour is come, glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify Thee: As Thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as Thou hast given him.  And this is life eternal, that they might know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent. I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which Thou gavest me to do.

“And now, O Father, glorify Thou me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before world was.                                         John 17:1—5

Jesus said:

O Father, Christ Consciousness within me is in tune with your Cosmic Consciousness. Intuition is telling me that the hour of my trial is nearer. This body in flesh and blood is Jesus within which Christ Consciousness, your Son, exists. Exalt Thy Son with the transcendent power of Thy Cosmic Consciousness. Your Son will glorify Thine absolute power. You have imparted Heavenly Consciousness to Thy Son.

O Father, the hour is nearer. As I had glorified You, You glorify Your Son. Here Father is Cosmic Consciousness. Son is Christ Consciousness.  

Jesus is preparing to dissolve his consciousness in the Absolute beyond creation.

When the Spirit projected the vibratory creation out of Itself, It became three—1)God the Father, or Sat, or Cosmic Consciousness  existing beyond Vibratory Creation; 2) tat or the Christ Intelligence or “only begotten Son” working in and through OM or the Holy Ghost, and 3) OM  or the Cosmic Vibration or Holy Ghost.

O Father as You have given me (Jesus) power to overcome material attachments, so I should also show and give eternal life to my disciples.  And this is life eternal, and Jesus Christ  whom Thou hast sent is also eternal. People  might know Thee the only true God,. I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which Thou gave me to do.

“O Father, glorify Thou me with Thine own self with the glory which I had with Thee before world was.”  Jesus wanted God the Father to give him infinite power before Cosmic Vibration and the Christ Consciousness were projected out of God.                  

“I have manifested Thy name unto the men which Thou gavest me out of the world: Thine they were, and Thou gavest them me; and they have kept Thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever Thou hast given me are of Thee. For I have given unto them the words which Thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send me.                                       John17:6—8

Jesus said: Father, I have glorified your name Thy name by teaching the disciples the art of contacting OM or Holy Ghost in meditation.  You have given these disciples to me. Now they have kept Thy word. They perceived that all things whatsoever Thou hast given me are of Thee. For I have given unto them the words which Thou gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from Thee, and they have believed that Thou didst send me. Jesus emphasized the importance of tuning in with God the Father consciousness for which meditating on OM or Holy Ghost is of paramaount importance.

“I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which Thou hast given me; for they are Thine.  And all mine are Thine, and Thine are  mine; and I am glorified in them.  And I am no more in the world, and I come to Thee. Holy Father, keep through Thine own name those whom Thou hast given me, that they may be one, as We are.                                                                               John 17:9—11

Jesus said: I pray for the true devotees. I do not pray for worldly people. Jesus’ intercessory prayer is for his spiritual disciples so that they will be in unity with God the Father. This You have given me and I gave it to them as they are Thine i.e. Yours. And all mine are Thine, and Thine are  mine; and I am glorified in them.  My Christ Consciousness within me is glorified tn the glory of Thy power is manifested n these Thy true devotees.  And I am no more in the world, and I come to Thee. My Christ Consciousness within me is beyond their reach as I am uniting with You.  Holy Father, keep through Thine own name those whom Thou hast given me, that they may be one, as We are. I pray you Father that You be with them so that they also be one with Thee even as I am. Jesus like a true Guru-savior pleading the Father for them. 

“While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Thy name; those that Thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now I come to Thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.”       John 17:12—13

Jesus said”

During my earth sojourn, I taught my disciples the method of contacting You, God the Father, through meditation. Those meditative techniques which you gave me were given to them for redeeming by me without losing them except in the case of Judas Iscariot whom the Satan has acknowledged as his son, ally. Now the time has come to me to be united with You.

“Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover. And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.  Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of twelve.

“And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.  And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money. And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.”                                                           Luke 22:1—6

Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?                John  6:70—71

Jesus had said: “Woe to that man by whiom the Son of man is betrayed! Good were it for that man if he had never been born.”                             Mark 14:21

Jesus thereby told Judas Iscariot that he would reap untold misery by choosing to betray him. The role of Juda’s past karma and his free will is the cause of betrayal.

It is clearly seen in this drama that man is the architect of his destiny.

“All things work together for good to them that love God.”   Romans 8:28

Jesus with his unflinching faith to the unequalled power of God’s love during his suffering and death on the cross, transformed the untrustworthy betrayal of Judas into the occasion of his greatest victory—a supreme demonstration of godliness for the inspiration of humanity. In that sense, Judas may be said to have been Jesus’ best publicity agent, insuring that the word of his life and message would be broadcast throughout the world as an example for all mankind for the ages to come.

“I have given them Thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even I am not of the world, I pray not that Thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that Thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

“Sanctify them through Thy truth: Thy word is truth. As Thou hath sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”       John 17:14—19

Jesus said: I have taught them to meditate on Holy Ghost. The worldly people did not follow them because these are spiritual.  And also I am not attached to this world. Please keep them away from evil doing.

Jesus prays that the disciples sanctify themselves through meditation on the Holy Ghost. Heavenly Father, manifest joy of Cosmic vibration, the Spirit of Truth.  Purify them from any remaining hidden past karma. As you have sent me in this world with purity, I have also taught them purity. I had sanctified myself for setting a true example to be their Guru preceptor. My disciples also may be sanctified by contacting the the Spirit of truth, the Holy Ghost, in meditation. 

“Neither pray I for These alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; that they all may be one; as Thou, Father, art in me, and  I in Thee, that they also may be one in Us; that the world may believe that Thou hast sent me.

“And the glory which Thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as We are one: I in them, and Thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me.

“Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they behold my glory, which Thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which Thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.                                                          John 17:20—24

Jesus said: I pray not only for these truth seeking disciples only but also truth seekers of all times. O Father as You are in me and I am in You, all truth seekers are in Us. All devotees may at last in their common self-realization become one with Thy Cosmic Consciousness.

I pray that worldly people know that Thy Cosmic Consciousness is manifest in me, and that Thou lovest these disciples, and all the people of the world, even as Thou lovest me.

When Jesus said: “Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world,” he signified that when the Cosmic Vibration and Christ Consciousness were emanated fro God, His love was present in Christ Consciousness even before creation became a mere concept in the Hevely Father’s cosmic mind. 

Jesus identifies the true followers as those who contact Christ Consciousness in meditation.

“O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith Thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.”                                                               John 17:25—26

In the above words: “I have declared unto them Thy name, and will declare it.”  Jesus says true Guru is he who is sent by God in response to sincere devotees.  He will turn them towards God so as to awaken the devotion in them.
