THE MANIFESTATION OF GODDESS LAKSHMI

THE MANIFESTATION OF GODDESS LAKSHMI:
There is a common story in the Puranas that Lord Vishnu advised both deities and demons to use the Mandar mountain as a Churner and the serpent--Sheshnag as a rope for churning the ocean in order to get nectar.
The great Mandar mountain was uprooted and placed on the back of the tortoise--the embodiment of Lord Vishnu. Sheshnag coiled around that mountain and both the ends were held by the demons at the tail, and the deities at the tail respectively. The deities held the tail-end, while the demons held the mouth-end. This churning has resulted in emerging Kalkut(poison), Kamdhenu--the holy cow,  Uchchaishrava (horse) and Airavat (elephant), kalpavrikshs- the holy tree, apsaras-beautiful damsels, the moon, and Goddess Lakshmi, seated on a lotus, and ultimately Sage Dhanvantari, the master of Ayurveda, with ambrosia-pot  appeared in his hands. Lord Mahadeva drank the Kalkut.

During kriya yoga sadhana--
The tortoise is the seat.  Mandar mountain, Spinal cord, is the churner. Rope is Kundalinee life force. Here the upgoing life force is Vasuki, and the down going life force is Kundalinee.
The sadhak utilizes his spinal cord as a solenoid. When the man is not doing this Kriyayoga sadhana he will have his kundalinee sleeping. The sleeping kundalinee will have its hood down in the lower chakras and tail in the upper chakras. When he starts his sadhna, the kundalinee awakens. The awakened kundalinee will have its hood up and tail its down.  The man who does not do sadhana at all will be having more negativity and has to hold the hood at the mooladhara.  The man who does sadhana will be attaining more and more positivity. He has to hold the hood at the Sahasrara. The down going life force is Kundalinee. The upgoing life force is Vasuki. This is the meaning of Sheshnag coiled around that mountain and both the ends were held by the demons at the tail, and the deities at the tail respectively.
During Kriyayoga sadhana with Khecharee mudra, the sadhak directs his upgoing and down going life forces through the middle of sushumna subtle (sookshma) nadi. His spinal cord is like a solenoid. Upgoing and down going life forces through the solenoid like spinal cord makes it  a magnet. This will draw all the other eddy currents towards the spinal cord and makes it fortified. The long and intense sadhana of Kriya yoga sadhak removes the poison like Arishadvargas i.e., Kama (desires). Krodha (anger), lobha (greedyness), moha (illusion), mada (pride), and Matsarya (jealousy). This amounts to the churning the Mandar mountain and resulting in emerging Kalkut (poison). This happens when awakened Kundalinee touches Visuddha chakra in the throat. Then the throat will be bluish. This is the inner meaning of Lord Mahadeva drank the Kalkut.
The appearance of Kamdhenu--the holy cow, indicates the positive transformation of spinal cord due to incessant sadhana. Uchchaishrava (horse) means the senses at large are being controlled. Airavat (elephant) means controlled mind. The controlled senses lead to controlled mind. kalpavrikshs- the holy tree indicates transformation of spinal cord into a beautiful magnet due to intense kriyayoga sadhana. Apsaras-beautiful damsels, indicates the growth of divinity in the sadhak. The moon indicates the absolute control of mind in the sadhak. Goddess Lakshmi, seated on a lotus indicates the growth of positive energy in the sadhak. Seated on a lotus indicates the unattachment to worldly affairs. Sage Dhanvantari, the master of Ayurveda, with ambrosia-pot  in his hands indicates the sadhak attaining the Amritatwa, the sainthood.
