The birth of Jesus.

The adoration of three wise men

“Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a savior, which is the Christ  the Lord.”

And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (and this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)  and all went to be taxed , everyone into his own city.  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) to be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered,.  And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in manger,; because there was no room for them in the inn.

And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.  And, lo, the angel of the lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them; and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them, ‘Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a saviour, which is Christ the Lord.  And this shall be a sign unto you; ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.”

Now when Jesus was born  in Bethlehem of Judeain the days of Herod of the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he that is born king of the Jews? For we have seen hisstar in the east, and are come to worship him.”

When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him, and when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.

And they said unto him, “In Bethlehem of Judea: for thus it is written by the prophet, “And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.”

Then Herod, when he had privily called wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.  And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, “Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.”

When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was.  When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.  And when they come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures , they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.

The visit of Three Wise Men

Behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are came to worship him.”...

And they were come into the house, they saw the young child amd Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him and when they had opened their treasures they presented unto him gifts; gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

   The transforming vibrations of the omnipresent consciousness were in Christ Jesus. The person who is in tune through devotion and deep meditation feel in a wondrously tangible way.  Communion with the Infinite Christ in Meditation is the actual Spiritual celebration of Jesus’s birth. Krishna/Christ love holds the infinite consciousness which includes all beings, all nations, all races and faiths as one. ``

‘Wise men from the east’  means were magi(Hebrew chartumin; Greek magoi) , a priestly class of mystics among ancient Medes and Persians. The wise men are three in number, commensurate with the New Testament account of the offering of the three gifts: gold, frankincense, and the myrrh.  

The worship of the wise men is more significant – Jesus was born in an Oriental Christ. His teachings were in accordance with the influence of Eastern culture.  The wise men, as per Indian manuscripts, were the great sages of India. They made their way to the infant Jesus in Bethlehem. When Ram and Krishna were born the Rishis of India blessed them. This is the usual tradition in India by ancient Rishis to bless whenever a noble soul takes birth on any corner of the earth.  Even Jesus reciprocated their visit. Rama and Krishna did the same. During the unaccounted for years of Jesus’s life—the Scripture remain silentabout him from the approximately ages 14 to 30—he journeyed to India, through China. The Yoga science was taught by Krishna. It provides the practicality of esoteric knowledge than mere beliefs.  Jesus has preached Christ-love and brotherhood. This is sure panacea to prevent the world from tearing apart. These two Christs one from East and other from West preached similar things.   

  In the words of Jesus: “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets, : I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”

The great ones come to destroy the dogmatic and expedient customs of religion, but to preserve the eternal truths hidden behind the religion.  Adi Sankaracharya states that if practice of Vedas cannot show the way to God, then what is the use of those scriptures? Avatars or great incarnations often choose auspicious astronomical and astrological configurations of the heavenly bodies at the time of birth. Whatever celestial star might have indicated to the Wise Men the birth of Jesus, it was a ‘star in the east’ of greater power.

Jesus said, “Behold the kingdom of God is within you.”   In fact the centre of the skull ‘Sahasraara Chakra’ is the east.   Holy Ghost (the intelligence vibration), Son of the Father or the Christ Consciousness  (Power of the transcendental Consciousness in Creation), and God the Father (Power of the transcendental Consciousness beyond Creation) together is called Trinity. This  Trinity is manifested microcosmically in man. It is called ‘Third Eye.” It is located between two eye brows in the forehead.

During meditation the third eye is seen as a brilliant white silver star, surrounded by opal blue sphere, and it is surrounded by a radiant  Golden circle.

Jesus said, “If therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.”       The devotee through the techniques of Kriya Yoga finds the light of brilliance between the eyes. The vision of the spiritual eyeis spherical and can see into omnipresence.      

Spiritual signs appear on the body and face of a realized soul. These signs are kept secret. Only the realized souls can read them. Wise were able to know they had found the Christ. They offered symbolic gifts. The three types of symbolic gifts represent as follows:

Gold—A symbol of appreciation of the great value liberating truth,

Incense—devotion, the fragrance of the heart’s love offered to a master who is a channel through whom God’s guidance and blessings flow.

The myrrh—the bitter trial and sacrifice that would be required of Jesus in fulfilling his divine mission.
